Frequently Asked Questions

What neighborhoods/parts of Pittsburgh do you walk dogs in?

I walk dogs all over Pittsburgh's East End neighborhoods. My primary service areas are Point Breeze, Regent Square, and East Liberty. Pack walks are available in all of these neighborhoods.

I also walk Bloomfield, Shadyside, Friendship, Edgewood, Swissvale, Bakery Square, Garfield, and Wilkinsburg. Pack walks are not available in these other neighborhoods.

I don't see my neighborhood listed in your service area. Can you still walk my dog?

As of this time, I only accept dog walking clients in the neighborhoods listed above.

How much does a walk cost?

All standard dog walks last ~30 mins are $20 per walk.
Pack walks are $25 per dog and last for ~50 mins.
We also offer a quick "Pee Break" walk for $10 per walk.

Can you walk multiple dogs for me?

Of course! Each booking request can include up to 3 dogs, total. You will need to select your walk type, then add the extra dogs using the "Add-Ons" drop down selectors. If you have more than 3 dogs, you'll have to create another booking for the rest. Each additional dog is $10 per walk. The additional dog discount can't be applied to more than 3 dogs.

What happens if it's raining/snowing/windy/too hot on the day of my dog's walk?

All dog walks that haven't been canceled will be completed regardless of weather within reasonable safety. For example, if it's just raining or snow on the ground, the dog will still be walked. If there is a severe thunderstorm or it's extremely hot, they will not. I keep a close eye on the weather and will do my best to let you know as soon as possible if I deem the conditions too dangerous to walk your dog in.

PLEASE NOTE: No dogs will be walked on days that it are below 0 or above 95 degrees Fahrenheit. I can still come by to take them for a pee break, but they will not go on an extended walk for their safety.

What are your qualifications as a dog walker?

I've been around dogs my entire life, and grew up with two Rottweilers that I had to walk every day. I also spent a year walking for the Rover app and received stellar reviews from my clients! I'm always looking for new things to learn about dogs, so I take canine CPR classes, attend dog training seminars, and read all about dog behavior in my spare time!

I still use Rover for a very select few clients, so you can check out my profile and reviews there! (No new bookings will be accepted through Rover, so please use this site to book walks with me!)

I found you on Rover.com, why can't I book you there?

In March of 2020 I moved my dog walking services to my own personal site to allow myself to expand my dog walking business as it grows. Rover was an amazing way to get started with my business, but I like the flexibility and freedom that having my own business provides. I don't accept any new bookings through Rover because I want to encourage clients to use this website to book my services. My Rover account will remain open for a few select previous clients who prefer the platform, but I hope to eventually work exclusively through my own site.
